If you’re like most people I know your attempt to go digital with everything has failed. Sure, it was easy to transition to digital music and photos, digital movies was easy once bandwidth made it acceptable, and reading has been a hit as well. Many of us have tried to make our todo’s, notes, scribbles, and post-it notes digital too. In some instances we’ve succeeded, but the biggest failure with people I know, and myself, is with sticky notes. Post-it brand notes has released an app that just might change that.

The problem in going digital with sticky notes is that it’s harder. It’s harder to get out a device, swipe it open, go to the app, load the app, tap the + to add a note, and then write it down with my finger (or stylus if I happen to have one nearby). It’s just so much more convenient to simply take a pad, write it down, and be done. The analog version also has the great addition of adhesive to stick it places…allowing me to place the reminder right in my line of sight for the place I will need it. The sticky note lets me do so much with so little. It’s a super easy tool to start using…

The one thing it doesn’t do however, is keep things organized. My desk often looks like a sea of neon paper. Scribbles and phone numbers and small lists. It’s a mess. I’ve attempted to use Evernote’s digital system with my notes, and it works really well, but it’s actually “too much”. Not everyone wants a huge ecosystem and robust handling of something that’s supposed to be simple, and that’s how it feels to me. So, that’s where this little Post-it Notes app comes in…

The app is very simple to use. Write your Post-it’s, snap a picture using the app, and sort, move, share, zoom, collaborate, and more. The app is capable of capturing up to 50 notes at a time…so just grabbing all of those from the day before I leave my desk has been working fine.

If you’re a post-it note junkie…and have failed going digital before, or maybe never thought to even try…now is the perfect time to give it a shot!

Check it out, it’s called Post-it Plus and it’s free!
